I just wanted to drop you a line to let you know how happy I am with the appearance of the roof at my home in Lake Mary.

I have been a customer of Shingle Care for a number of years now, and while other homes in my neighborhood have an aged look because of the fungus growing on their roofs, my home looks bright, clean and newer.

I am a Realtor and know how important the "Curb Appeal" is to a home, and a dirty roof is not appealing to many buyers who are not familiar with this typical condition indicative to homes in the South. When we moved to Florida, one of the first things we noticed were the ugly stained roofs on many homes. We bought our home new in 1984, and the builder provided us with "fungus-proof shingles". However, within a few short years, our roof began to stain. It made our home look awful. Then we met John from "Shingle Care" at the Family Expo and made arrangements for him to visit our home and give us an estimate to clean and treat our roof.

When we bought our house, I was very upset about the roof. It was very dirty looking. On a gray (light) roof, all the black fungus was very noticeable.

I was very pleased with the results when we had it cleaned. It really looked like a new roof! Everyone asked if we had gotten a new roof but I explained we just had gotten it cleaned. And they couldn't believe the cost, it was great! A new roof we couldn't afford but this we could.

Also, when the technician came out, I didn't have to worry about taking off from work or anything. He just came out & no one had to be here. And he was great about the shrubs around the house. Nothing was damaged & the solution didn't hurt the plants.

I highly recommend this to anyone who has a problem with fungus on their roof. It makes the whole appearance of the house look wonderful!
